Effective therapies for releasing deep trauma and rebalancing the nervous system.
Crainosacral Therapy
Crainosacral Therapy and Core Synchronism are profound systems of healing which assist in re-establishing harmony in the body via the cerebrospinal fluid, which baths the brain and spine. They are particularly effective in releasing deep trauma and rebalancing the nervous system.
We offer Crainosacral Therapy, CST, in the tradition of Dr. Upledger. CST was pioneered and developed by osteopathic physician John E. Upledger following extensive scientific studies at Michigan State University, where he served as a clinical researcher and Professor of Biomechanics. CST uses a soft touch generally no greater than 5 grams, or about the weight of a nickel, in which restrictions in the craniosacral system are released to improve the functioning of the central nervous system. By complementing the body’s natural healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to increase resistance to disease, and is effective for a wide range of medical problems associated with pain and dysfunction.
Core Synchronism, created by Robert Stevens in Albuquerque, NM, is based upon the philosophy of Cranial Osteopathy, Crainosacral Therapy, and Polarity Therapy. It is an intricate system of sensing the body on many levels of both physical and subtle anatomy. The aim is to re-establish the bodies innate synchronism with the core current, that runs along the central channel in the center of the spine, and the movement of the cerebral spinal fluid which, creates subtle movement upon the entire body. When the entire body is moving in harmony and synchronism, deep seated trauma, and pain is released at its core. CST and Core Synchronism are particularly helpful in the following conditions:
- Chronic pain – Headaches, TMJ, Chronic Neck and Back Pain, Whiplash and Automobile Accidents, Neuromuscular Conditions, Fibromyalgia
- Traumatic Brain and Spinal Cord Injuries
- Motor-Coordination Impairment
- Colic, Autism, Learning Disabilities,
- Central Nervous System Disorders
- Orthopedic Problems
- Chronic Fatigue
- Emotional Imbalances
- Stress and Tension Related Problems
- Immune Disorders
- Post Traumatic Stress Disorders
- Post Surgical Dysfunction
- Deep seated Trauma from any accident or other causes
